Spring Break :
Beach Bag Essentials
For most of you, Spring Break is just around the corner. There is something wonderful about spring break, It is the start of warm weather, late nights, beachy waves and bikinis. It brightens and lifts you up after these harsh winter months. I thought with Spring Break coming up I would do a few posts getting you prepared and ready for one of the best weeks of the year! Starting with a Beach Bag Essentials guide with everything you could want and need to be "beach ready". I hope it helps you get in the beachy mood! Enjoy!
Beach Bag Essentials
Ipad : An ipad is a great edition to your beach necessities. You can watch movies, download a magazine or book, or catch up on the latest Jadore post, of course!
Your Favorite Beach Read : Reading is one of my favorite things to do while at the pool or beach. A light book that is easy and fun to read is a great option! ( Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, $8.49)
Towel : Having a soft and stylish towel is a great thing to have! If you have experienced laying out on a rough towel that scratches your skin you know why this is a must!! ( Nautical Egyptian Cotton Beach Towel, $38.00)
Sunglasses : Not only will they protect your eyes, but have you ever tried reading without sunglasses in the sun?! No thank you! Read my post here to see what sunglasses work best for the shape of your face! ( H&M Aviator Sunglasses, $7.95)
Makeup Bag Essentials
Sunsreen : Though many people believe it to be untrue but you CAN still tan with a sunscreen higher than SPF 8. You need a good sunscreen! Be smart and safe, using harsh low SPF tanning oils can really do damage to your skin! It is not worth it when you can just use a self tanner and have great looking skin! (Loreal Sublime Sun Suncreen SPF 30, $9.99)
Lip Color : I have completely fallen in love with Revlon Lip Butters. They are colorful and moisturizing, perfect for a day in the sun! The colors aren't as intense as a lipstick but aren't as sticky as a gloss. They are the perfect medium! (Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy, $6.49)
EOS Lip Balm : Along with the lip butter, EOS is great for girls who want no color but want moisturized lips. This Lip Balm is by far my favorite chapstick! If you would like one with SPF in it, the EOS Lemon Drop Lip Balm contains SPF. (EOS Lip Balm, $2.96)
Evian Mineral Spray : Though this mist is a tad pricey, those of you who have used it know how amazing this especially when you are in the sun all day! It will give you a light mist to cool you down without messing up your makeup! Perfect whether you are on the beach, by the pool, or shopping at an outdoor mall! (Evian Mineral Spray, $10.99)
Waterproof Mascara : If you are at the pool or beach, you most likely are wearing pretty basic neutral eye makeup, maybe even just mascara. A waterproof mascara is great to have on hand at all time. It will give you extra drama and volume and wont come off in the water. (Maybelliene NY Colassal Volume Express Waterproof Mascara, $5.94)
Matte Powder : To prevent sweating throughout the day, throw a matte pressed powder into your bag for quick touch up to keep your makeup look flawless in even the hottest parts of the day. (Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, $3.97)
