Day 2 : Ab and Leg Tuesday
Happy Ab and Leg Tuesday!! We are one day closer to our goals for this year and to a healthy lifestyle we are creating for ourselves. Today, I have an Ab and Leg focus workout for you girls! I hope you enjoy and kick ass at it! If you would like to make it more advance, grab some free weights or a medicine ball and work it out! I am loving this health and fitness challenge so far and I hope you do also! In addition to your Day 2 workout, I have some healthy and clean eating tips to make it easier to grab and go without thinking much about it! Enjoy!

My Clean Eating Tips
for Grab and Go
One of the biggest healthy and clean eating tips I can ever give is to make ahead and store your favorite healthy foods! By making them easily attainable and readily available you and your family with be more likely to reach for them! One of my favorite side dishes I always have on hand is sauteed vegetables. They are an easy side to just throw on your plate and go! My advice would be to go to the store and just browse for a while. Go through the produce section and just do some looking. Figure out what you like and what you will actually eat and pick it up! When you get home prepare it all at once. Wash what needs to be washed, do all of your chopping and storing at once. That way, through the week you can just grab some prepared pineapple or celery in a sandwich bag and take it with you! One thing I just recently came across is cutting up salad and storing the lettuce in the fridge inside of a mason jar! When you want something quick just grab the jar and a small rubber maid of your favorite dressing and head out the door! Lately for breakfast, each week I will make up breakfast sausage and store it to throw together a quick healthy egg and sausage burrito! Do the same with filling mixtures like the picture above! Make the filling ahead of time and store it in the fridge! By doing these little things ahead of time will make you more inclined to pick the healthier choices!

I always cook up some grilled chicken tenders, a small container of bow tie pasta, sauteed vegetables, hard boiled eggs, cut up fruits for easy quick access. I also throw some cut up fruits in a ziplock bag and throw it in the freezer for quick after workout smoothies! I hope these tips and tricks are helpful to you!
