Hair in a Rush :
Fashionably Late Series
Many girls don't realize how many things you can do with your hair when you are in a time crunch! One of my biggest tips I will ever give about hair is about when to wash your hair. To people who have never heard this, you may cringe, but trust me after you do it a few times you will realize how much healthier it makes your hair! You should only wash your hair 2-3 times a week! The benefits to only washing your hair every other or every few days are : 2nd and 3rd day hair holds curl and styling products easier, you don't have to fuss with blow drying and restyling your hair every morning, It also makes getting ready in the mornings quicker and easier! Another tip I have is showering at night instead of the morning. If you think about it, it makes sense, you run around all day long, why would you get in your bed like that? why not shower and then get in a nice clean bed! Then when you wake up it is one less thing to do in the morning! A key to having beautiful hair no matter the time you have, are the styling products and tools you use! Below are a few of the best products to use to have gorgeous looking hair!
Top Products and Tools
Brushes : Having good quality brushes that work with your hair type is very important. Do your research! Most brushes are for certain hair types, by using the wrong one, you can see opposite results then what you want. The brushes you should have in your collection are a round brush, a paddle brush, a comb, and a teasing comb.
Claw Clips : Due to the fact i take my shower at night, I usually let my hair air dry about 70% while I am sleeping. By putting your hair in an elastic while you are sleeping, you are breaking the hair and causing that horrible crease! Wrap your hair, wet or dry, into a bun and secure it with a claw clip while you sleep. Let it down in the morning and quickly dry it if need be the rest of the way with a round brush.
Dry Shampoo : Dry shampoo is the best hair product I have ever tried! Not only does it give your hair some life, but it also gives it volume and bounce. Do research on which is the best for your hair color. Some dry shampoos can make dark hair look gray because it is specialized for light hair.
Styling Tools : It is important to have good quality tools in your collection due to the fact they last a long time and work really well. I curl my hair with a curling wand and it creates an amazing curl that lasts all day long and even on day 2! Curlers are another quick way to get bouncy curlers without trying hard. Put them in before doing your makeup and getting coffee. When you take them down, spruce a few strands up with your curling wand and you are good to go! A straightener is also very important like the curling wand, there is nothing worse then not having a straightener when you are in a rush. Blow dryers are a pretty neutral tool but do so much! The most important thing to look for in a dryer is that it has alot of heat and drys quick!

Quick Fix Hair How To's
Top Knot Step One : Start with your hair in a high ponytail on top of your head. Step Two : With a comb, Tease all of the hair in the ponytail. Step Three : Gently brush the ponytail to lightly smooth where you teased (do not brush out the tease!) Step Four : Pull hair back into the form of a bun. Step Five : Wrap an elastic around it ONCE just to hold it in place. DO NOT twist the elastic! Step Six : Secure with bobby pins and apply a light coat of hairspray and you are done! | Double Side Braid Step One : Begin with your hair down with a side part. Step Two : Start with one section of hair on the thickest side of your part and braid it all the way down. (make sure its angled toward the back of your head.) Step Three : Pull at the braid to make it thicker. Step Four : Pin it on the back side of your head underneath a layer of hair to hide the bobby pins. Step Five : Gather all of the hair and braid it into a side braid, just like step three, pull at the braid to make it a little bit thicker. | Sock Bun Step One : Take a tall sock and cut the toe section off and scrunch it into the shape of a circle. Step Two : With your hair in a high ponytail, string your ponytail through the center of the circle. Step Three : Gently roll it down the ponytail tucking the extra hair under the sock until you get to the bottom of your hair. Step Four : Most sock buns will stay secure with just the sock but you can always add a few bobby pins to be safe! |
