Four Rules to Stick by for a Flawless Healthy Face
1. Be consistent.
Consistency is the only thing that will get you to what you want. If you want results badly enough, you will make sure your skincare routine gets done every morning and every night. Your face needs to be trained to react the way you want it to and that takes time. I know it is tedious and sometimes time consuming but it has to get done for you to achieve the results you want. Nothing is worse then waking up with a pimple on your face or dry skin. By following these tips and tricks, hopefully you will never have to deal with that feeling again! You will wake up with a clear and healthy face and the motivation to take on the day ahead!
2. Don't be afraid to splurge on what truly works for you.
Everyone's face is different which means what may work great on one person can be the worst product another person has ever tried. If your like me, you have tried just about every product on the shelves at Walmart and it does horrible things to your skin. I have had everything from allergic reactions and dryness to an increase in acne. Skincare is one routine that is completely worth the splurge. If you can not find a product that works for you in the drugstore don't be afraid to at least try the department store brands. If acne is a huge problem for you then find what works for you even if you have to spend some money. Every woman needs a good splurge once in a while!
3. Pay close attention to your skin type when purchasing
When it comes to your face there are five different skin types. They are Oily, Dry, Combination, Sensitive and Sun damaged. Oily Skin is when you have large pores and your face tends to look very shiny all of the time. Dry Skin is when you have medium sized pores and your skin is extremely tight. Combinaton Skin is fairly normal looking but if you do get a little bit oily it tends to only appear in the T- zone area. Sensitive Skin is delicate and may have a reaction or rash easily with tiny pores. Sun Damaged Skin usually feels tight with wrinkle or a leathery texture to it. Paying attention to your skin type is crucial. For example, if a person with dry skin picks up a product geared toward oily skin, they would end up disappointed with bad results. Cleansers for oily skin are made to remove moisture, the opposite of what a person with dry skin needs. Once you find out what type you are, pay attention to labels and ingredients to find out which type the skin product is meant for.
4. Go further than just a cleanser to protect your face.
If you are trying to save time with just using a cleanser and nothing else, you may not be getting the results you want. By building a full skincare routine it will give you the flawless face you have been wanting for years. Trust me, i use to be the one who wouldnt even use a cleanser. just a makeup remover wipe. Now, I look back and wonder what I was thinking! Every skincare routine needs to include a makeup remover, a cleanser, a toner, a spot treatment and a moisturizer. That may sound like alot of products but they each have their purpose for helping your face become healthy, clear and most of all under control.
